?About Death Café
The first Death Café was held in London in 2011, inspired by the ideas of Swiss sociologist Bernard Crettaz who believed that talking about death could help break taboos and bring more meaning to life. Since then, thousands of Death Cafés have taken place across the world, always with the same simple ingredients: open conversation, no set agenda, and tea and cake.
? What to Expect
• A warm, safe space to talk about death, dying, grief, and life.
• No agenda, advice, or therapy – just open conversation.
• Respectful listening and shared stories.
• Tea, cake, and connection.
Everyone is welcome. ?
