π΄ Theme: Mele Kalikimaka / Hawaiian Holidayπ₯ A Touch of Fire Dance History
Fire dancing traces back to Polynesia β especially Samoaβs ailao afi, the traditional fire knife dance, and Hawaiian drum and dance traditions that honored ancestors, nature, and community.
Modern flow arts draw inspiration from these roots: rhythm, storytelling, and the shared experience of gathering around flame.
On Christmas Eve, our plaza circle becomes part of that lineage β celebrating warmth, connection, and light in the dark.
