Monday, May 4th — Launching from Dees Brothers Brewery at 6 PMStrap on your helmets, tighten your robes, and fire up your hyperdrives—because the Sanford Bicycle Club is celebrating Star Wars Day the only way we know how: by rolling all over Florida’s version of Tatooine… Sanford.
✨ THE MISSION
Join us for a fun, Force‑filled ride along the Riverwalk and through the streets of our sandy Outer Rim outpost. Expect lightsabers, blasters (the foam kind, calm down stormtroopers), and plenty of questionable Jedi wisdom shouted into the night.
If you’ve got a droid, bring it.
If you know a Wookiee, definitely bring it.
If you’ve got both, you’re basically royalty.
✨ THE LOOK
Come dressed as your favorite Star Wars character—Jedi, Sith, smuggler, Ewok, moisture farmer, whatever your destiny demands.
If you’re currently on the run from the Empire, civilian clothes are acceptable. You should be safe out here on the edge of the galaxy.
✨ THE RIDE
We’ll cruise the sands of Sanford at a pace even a Jawa could keep up with. Expect to complete the route in less than 12 parsecs—which, as everyone knows, is absolutely how distance works.
✨ THE AFTER‑PARTY
Back at Dees Brothers Brewery, we’ll settle in for a screening of Star Wars, sip on some refreshing blue milk (or whatever your thirst requires), and debate important galactic topics like:
Who actually shot first
Whether Sanford counts as the Outer Rim or Wild Space
Why can’t stormtroopers hit anything, even on a bike
🔥 May the Fourth be with you.
🔥 May your lightsaber stay charged.
🔥 And may your ride be smoother than the Kessel Run.
