黃慧妍於2024年完成香港中文大學藝術系中國藝術史博士課程，研究關注香港當代社會實踐藝術與禮物理論。她利用不同媒介包括繪畫、雕塑、拼貼、裝置和攝影等創作，作品探索自身經驗、回憶片段以及藝術史詮釋等相關專題。在本次講座中，她將會從她生活的社區黃埔出發，談談最近的創作專案，分享她對本地、全球以及數碼世界的看法。

Doris Wong Wai Yin received her PhD in Chinese Art History from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2024. Her research focuses on Social Practice Art in Hong Kong and Gift Theory. Doris' artistic practise encompasses various media, such as painting, sculpture, collage, installations and videos. She explores diverse themes including autobiographical experiences, episodic memory and interventions in art history. In this talk, she discusses her recent projects, from her Whampoa residential community to the dynamics of the local, globalisation and the influence of digital culture.
