Join us for a special literary celebration! As the United States marks 250 years since independence, the Shanghai American Center invites you to explore the American spirit through three unforgettable stories. Journey with a brave young girl battling darkness across dimensions. Soar with small-town dreamers who reached for the stars. Ride alongside cowboys forging their destiny across the untamed frontier. These powerful narratives reveal the innovation, leadership, and perseverance that define America's cultural heritage.

First Book: A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle
Discussion Sessions: March 19 & April 9, 2026

Meg Murry and her genius brother journey through folded space-time to rescue their father from a sinister cosmic force. They discover that love and individuality are humanity's most powerful weapons against conformity and darkness.
