《港督原來喺左近》伙拍移英港人,「瓹窿瓹罅」尋找港督在英國的足跡,不但走訪英國大城小鎮歷史現場、隱世圖書館和墓地、又向英國鄰居尋根究柢,回顧港督的政策如何塑造及影響香港人的命運。
倫敦首映將播放《寶靈篇》(片長33分鐘)及《葛量洪篇》(片長38分鐘),並設映後座談,與觀眾一同細看歷史迴響。
Hi, Your Excellency embarks on a profound journey as Hongkongers resettle in the land of their former rulers. Ever wondered that the governors who once held sway over their lives might have lived just down the road? This soul-searching travelogue takes new migrants on an adventure to unearth forgotten colonial tales, shedding fresh light on the past.
As they hunt for the Governor’s footprints, they’ll mingle with locals and uncover hidden gems around their new home. This short documentary is a thoughtful exploration of heritage, memory, and the intricate connections between past and present.
At the London premiere, the “Bowring” (Duration: 33 minutes) and “Grantham” (Duration: 38 minutes) episodes will be shown, with a post-screening talk to reflect on history’s echoes.
