About this Event
As the 2027 deadline for the European Union’s Digital Product Passport (DPP) approaches, Hong Kong exporters face a critical pivot point in digital transparency and sustainability. To navigate this complex regulatory landscape, GS1 Hong Kong and the German Chamber of Commerce, Hong Kong are proud to co-host a milestone seminar: "The EU Market Access Deadline: Navigating DPP Compliance by 2027"
The Digital Product Passport (DPP): Your Passport to the EU Market
The transition to a circular economy is no longer a vision—it is a legal mandate. Under the EU’s Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), the Digital Product Passport (DPP) is rolling out in high-priority phases. With the EU Central Registry launching in July 2026, sectors including Batteries, Textiles, and Iron & Steel face the most immediate requirements for 2027. Mandatory for any physical good entering the EU market, the DPP requires comprehensive lifecycle data—from material origins to carbon footprints—accessible via a single, standardized QR code.
The question is no longer if your data is ready, but how you will prove it. Is your supply chain ready for the 'Digital Link' era?
