In this life drawing sessions, Shibari artist Dan Carabas will create two intimate and slow rope performances with Shibari model Dorcara, offering in total six dynamic and expressive poses in ropes for the audience to capture in their drawings.
Whether you're an experienced artist or a beginner, this evening provides a rare opportunity to study the human form transformed and shaped by Shibari ropes in a unique and powerful way.

Two intimate rope performances with 3 poses held between 5 and 15 minutes. - BEGINNER INTRODUCTION
Join our beginner introduction into drawing or Shibari before the performance. - MATERIALS
Bring your own sketching supplies, or try out the equipment that we provide. - ATMOSPHERE
Not like any other drawing class, this space is holding an intimate atmosphere by soft dimmed lighting & meditative sounds.
Expect a relaxed, respectful, and welcoming environment where you can explore Shibari as an art form and deepen your figure-drawing skills.
You will also have some time for tea and to share your work with each other, if you like to.

__ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR__
Dan Carabas, renowned for his multidisciplinary art project METAMORPHIC SCULPTURES, is an experienced Shibari artist and instructor who has been working with ropes in an aesthetic and expressive manner for over a decade. Based in Berlin, he founded in 2024, where he began teaching what he describes as "the art of Shibari with intention." This focused practice emphasizes tying one’s partner in an intimate and sensual way, fostering a deep connection and communication through the ropes.
