Re-root, re-ground, re-center. Reconnect to your truest, brightest self during this daylong yoga & more retreat just for women, nestled amidst the trees and near the river in Glen Echo, Maryland.
Together, we’ll take a pause from our busy, hectic lives to anchor in grounding practices including:
✨🌳 Journaling and optional sharing
✨🌳 Guided visualization meditation
✨🌳 Slow flow (gentle vinyasa) yoga
✨🌳 Mindful meandering in nature (weather permitting)
✨🌳 Mindful eating in community
✨🌳 A deep restorative yoga practice with optional Reiki and crystal bowl savasana

Provided:

✨🌳 All yoga props and mats
Please bring:
✨🌳 A water bottle
✨🌳 An open heart and mind
✨🌳 Sunscreen and bug spray, if desired, for outdoor meandering
✨🌳 If preferred, you're welcome to bring your own favorite journal, yoga mat and props, and/or anything else that would make your practices and day more comfortable (e.g. special cushion for sitting, eye pillow, etc.)
ABOUT THE LOCATION:
Our retreat takes place at the magical JourneySpace in Glen Echo, Maryland, nestled amidst the trees, not far from the C&O Canal and Potomac River and adjacent to the charming Glen Echo Park. Take in the soothing, healing energy of outdoor wind chimes and a fountain, and a gorgeous, wood-accented practice space filled with massive crystals and positive goodness.
Street and lot parking is available. Instructions will be sent to registrants. (Please be sure to leave extra time to find the venue and for parking so as not to be late.)
ABOUT JENNY:
A full-time self-care champion and wellness educator, Jenny is committed to helping busy people lower their stress and find more peace and joy in their daily lives through restorative practices like mindfulness, meditation, yoga and dance. She shares tools and techniques that are not only scientifically proven; they've also been a fundamental part of her own journey, healing from crippling grief, burnout, debilitating physical symptoms of stress, and anxiety.
Her goal is to demystify these practices and make them easy, accessible and better known so more people can feel better, too.
Jenny completed her 200-hour meditation teacher training with celebrated LA-based studio and app Unplug Meditation, 200-hour vinyasa yoga teacher training at Bhakti Yoga DC, restorative yoga training with renowned expert Jillian Pransky, and Reiki Levels I and II with Jessica Mahler. Additionally, she has been teaching movement for more than two decades across the DC region.
