About this Event
Contra is a fun and easy dance, and darn it, you need more dancing in your life!
No experience needed! Come alone or with friends! All ages. All genders. All body types.
Music by supergroup Sycamore! Cedar Stanistreet ( fiddle), Michael Sokolovsky (guitar and feet), and Samuel Foucher (accordion). Dances will be called by Angela DeCarlis!
You may know Samuel Foucher from that hot band Spintuition.
You may know Michael Sokolovsky from that hot band Uncle Farmer.
You may know Cedar Stanistreet from those hot bands Nor’easter, Cloud Ten, Maivish, and Cardinal Direction.
You will know Sycamore from the trail of happy, exhausted dancers that they leave behind.
The lesson is at 7:30 pm, the dancing starts at 8:00 pm and goes until 11:00 pm!
