🎻 This afternoon is extra close to our hearts because we are welcoming Back a Local Legend: Jim Trussaint "Jimmy the Fiddler!
To our wonderful "old-timers" and long-time community members, that name carries a beautiful echo of the past. For many years, Jim performed with the beloved Country Gents—every single Friday night, rain or shine. Jim also performed for the Old Time Fiddlers for many years as well. What an amazing talent!
We know the last few years since Covid have changed a lot of routines, and many of our familiar, cherished faces haven't been able to make it out to the Grange as much. We have missed your smiles, your stories, and your presence more than words can say.
This afternoon is for you.
When Jim coaxes those familiar, sweet notes out of his fiddle, we hope it transports you back to those legendary Friday nights. It’s a chance to dust off old memories, share a warm laugh with neighbors you might not have seen in a while, and let the music bridge the gap between yesterday and today.
