Extend the life of your garden bounty! In this hands-on class, you'll learn the science behind safely canning low-acid foods like vegetables, meat, and seafood using research-based methods. We'll discuss essential equipment and recipe resources from certified Master Food Preserver volunteers.
The class includes research-based resources and instruction, as well as a hands-on lab. You will take home a jar of canned vegetables to enjoy after class.
Class is $25 per person, or $40 for two people sharing take-home resources.
