Peak Tors offer dog-friendly, guided walks in the Peak District and beyond. You don't need to own a dog to join onto one of walks, maybe you're thinking of becoming a first time dog owner or not in a position to own one currently and just want to experience the joy they bring.
Being a dog expert is not important to bringing your dog along. As long as they're on the lead, easy enough to control and up for a big day then we can help with the do's and don'ts of the countryside code and your dog.
Explore the lesser known peaks around the busy Roaches. Quiet moorland and expansive views from these two Ethels. This Ethel-bagging walk packs plenty of character into a short distance, taking in the rugged gritstone edges of Ramshaw Rocks and the quieter summit of Merryton Low. Along the way it passes Blake Mere, the atmospheric “Mermaid’s Pool”, adding a touch of legend and tranquillity to the route. It’s a rewarding outing that blends dramatic rock formations, open moorland and a satisfying sense of journey from one top to the next.
There is a small charge of £6 or this walk with £5 going to CPRE Peak District and South Yorks.
