About this Event
🕉️ Celebrate Maha Shivratri in Leeds 🕉️
We invite you to join us for a sacred day of devotion and celebration in honour of Lord Shiva on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.
In the Hindu tradition, Maha Shivratri is revered as the night of spiritual awakening and transformation, symbolising the divine union of Shiva and Shakti, the merging of consciousness, positive energy and creation.
This gathering marks Yorkshire’s first Maha Shivratri and Lord Shiva Prana Pratishtha (consecration ceremony), a truly significant spiritual occasion. Families and friends are lovingly invited to come together to witness and participate in this moment of deep devotion and grace.
The day will begin with traditional Shiva Puja, Abhishek, and the Prana Pratishtha ceremony. Followed by a Grand Maha Shivratri celebration featuring devotional music, dance, Aarti and the sharing of Prashad / Bhojan.
🎟️ Entry is free, with registration required to support event planning. Please reserve your FREE ticket in advance. .
