This Arabic stand-up comedy show is a playful, sharp, and brutally honest cultural face-off, where identity, migration, stereotypes, and integration collide on stage.

Saad arrived in Austria as a refugee ten years ago — like many Syrians before him. Since then, he has collected countless stories about life in Austria, the refugee experience, cultural misunderstandings, and the strange expectations placed on newcomers.

Rami, half-Bulgarian and half-Lebanese, has lived in Austria for 24 years. With blue eyes and white skin, he has “mastered integration” — or at least that’s what everyone assumes. His comedy dissects privilege, perception, and what integration really means when you look the “right” way.

Together, they fight — not with politics or violence — but with jokes.
Which, let’s be honest, is something the Middle East has perfected over the last few decades.

سعد وصل إلى النمسا لاجئًا قبل 10 سنوات، مثل كثير من السوريين. وخلال هذه السنوات جمع قصصًا لا تُحصى عن الحياة في النمسا، نظرة المجتمع للاجئين، والمواقف اليومية التي لا يمكن اختراعها.

رامي، نصف بلغاري ونصف لبناني، يعيش في النمسا منذ 24 عامًا. بعيونه الزرقاء ولون بشرته الأبيض، أتقن “الاندماج المثالي” — أو على الأقل هكذا يراه الآخرون. كوميدياه تسلط الضوء على الامتيازات، الأحكام المسبقة، وما يعنيه الاندماج فعلًا.

كلاهما هنا ليتقاتلا…
لكن بالسخرية، لا بالسياسة.
وهي مهارة أتقنها الشرق الأوسط منذ عقود.
