Διαλογισμός με την Τέχνη!Με τη Θεοδώρα Δημητρίου.
Το εργαστήριο «Διαλογισμός με την Τέχνη!» επιστρέφει με αφορμή την προσωρινή έκθεση της Λεβεντείου Πινακοθήκης «Κάνθος: Στο Μεταίχμιο της Ιστορίας». Η γυναικεία φιγούρα που κυριαρχεί σε αρκετά από τα έργα της έκθεσης θα γίνει η πηγή έμπνευσής μας για τον διαλογισμό μας. Η γυναίκα ως μάνα, ως αδελφή, η γυναίκα της Κύπρου που, αν και στο παρασκήνιο για χρόνια, διαδραματίζει έναν από τους πιο σημαντικούς ρόλους στην κοινωνία τους χθες και του σήμερα. Μαζί θα ανακαλύψουμε αυτήν τη δύναμη της γυναίκας και θα αναζητήσουμε τη δική μας δύναμη, που ίσως για χρόνια τώρα μένει σιωπηλή. Μαζί θα ξυπνήσουμε τη φωτιά που κρύβουμε μέσα μας, καθοδηγώντας μας να δημιουργήσουμε έναν κόσμο ομορφότερο – τον κόσμο που εμείς επιθυμούμε.
Κατά τη διάρκεια του προγράμματος οι συμμετέχοντες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να ξεναγηθούν σε επιλεγμένα έργα της έκθεσης. Έπειτα θα ακολουθήσει ένας καθοδηγούμενος διαλογισμός εμπνευσμένος από τα συγκεκριμένα έργα της έκθεσης και στο τέλος θα μοιραστούμε τις εμπειρίες μας μέσα από τη ζωγραφική η/και τη συγγραφή!

Meditation with Art!
With Theodora Demetriou.
The ‘Meditation with Art!’ workshop is returning on the occasion of the A. G. Leventis Gallery’s temporary exhibition ‘Kanthos: The Sharp Edges of History’. The female figure, which features prominently in many of the artworks of the exhibition, will become the source of inspiration for our meditation: woman as a mother, as a sister, the woman of Cyprus, who, despite being in the background for years, holds one of the most significant roles in the society of the past and the present. Together we will seek out the strength of these women and we will search for our own strength, which may have remained silent for years. We will awaken the fire hidden inside of us, guiding us to create a more beautiful world – a world that we desire.
During the programme, participants will have the opportunity to tour selected artworks in the exhibition. This will be followed by a guided meditation inspired by the specific works. At the end, we will share our experiences through painting and/or writing!
