Every 29th of the month, across Argentina, families gather to eat ñoquis de papa — soft potato gnocchi — in a tradition known as Ñoquis del 29.It started as a humble end-of-month meal when money was tight. Over time, the tradition grew: people began slipping money under their plate as a symbol of hope and prosperity for the month ahead.
