🌱 Both Whitestone Point and Gould's Lagoon are regular planting sites for us, and we're coming back to look after our plantings, making sure they're thriving. At Whitestone Point, we'll be watering, weeding and resetting guards. Afterwards, join us at Gould's Lagoon (5 min walk away) where we'll be using wheelbarrows to place mulch around our plantings, which keeps weeds down and helps retain soil moisture. We will also check on plants and remove weeds inside tree guards.
Be part of a fun, casual event, and restore habitat along the timtumili minanya (Derwent River) with your own hands!
👖***Please note we require all participants to wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, fully enclosed shoes and a hat.***
