Join us in the Cafe for a captivating morning with our special guest, Deirdre from The Olive Grove! This unique two-part event will transport you to the sun-drenched groves of the Mediterranean without ever leaving the center.
🌿 Part 1: The Talk (10:00 AM)
Gather with us as the owner Deirdre, shares fascinating stories and insights from the world of olive cultivation. You'll learn about the history, the harvest, and the timeless significance of this incredible tree and its precious oil. You'll then get to sample a variety of their high-quality oils, including Koroneiki, Arbequina, and Mission, along with two infused oils and two balsamics. There might even be a country spread, olive bread, and some olive trees on display!
🌿 Part 2: The Workshop (Approx. 11:00 AM)
After the talk, you'll tap into your own creativity in a hands-on workshop! Deirdre will guide you in crafting your very own clay olive oil lamp—a beautiful and functional piece of art inspired by ancient traditions to take home.
This event is perfect for nature lovers, history buffs, and anyone looking for a mindful, creative morning. All materials for the workshop will be provided.
