Join us for a 7 week Total Beginners Ballet course!
Over the 7-weeks, you will be introduced to the foundational techniques of Ballet - from pliés to pirouettes - in a light-hearted, encouraging and confidence-building environment.
As well as learning the core techniques, positions and vocabulary you'll also get the chance to learn some beautiful routines, so you really get the chance to dance!
This class is suitable for anyone who is completely new to the ballet style. You'll recieve an Introductory video before you first class, so you can get used to some of the terminology and positions.
By the end of the course, you'll be armed and ready to join our weekly Beginners Ballet classes on Mondays at 6PM (that class is designed for people who are new-ish to ballet but know the basics).
'What's the difference between the TOTAL Beginners course and the Beginners class?' you may be asking. Well! When someone joins the beginners CLASS they tend to stay there for about a year, progressing along the way, until they join the Improvers class on Wednesdays.
This means, while people in the Beginners class are new to the style, they have been picking up and learning the basics over a few months. The TOTAL Beginners Course however, is for people who are at the very beginning of their ballet journey wanting to learn everything from the ground up - across a 7 week period - before they join move on to the Beginners Class.
