Let’s clean up our community — and celebrate with ice cream.
Join Soda Jerk Ice Cream for our Community Clean-Up Day, where neighbors, families, and volunteers come together to help clean up local wooded areas and make Rising Sun a little brighter.
As a thank-you for lending a hand, all volunteers will receive a FREE scoop of ice cream after the clean-up.
How it works:
Meet at Soda Jerk Ice Cream at 9:00 AM
We’ll organize groups and head out to nearby wooded cleanup areas
Return to Soda Jerk afterward for a free scoop for volunteers
This is a family-friendly event — kids are welcome with an adult, and every bit of help makes a difference.
What to wear / bring:
Because we’ll be working in a heavily wooded area, we strongly recommend:
Long pants
Long sleeves
Closed-toe shoes or boots
Gloves (if you have them)
Dress comfortably and for the outdoors.
Registration:
To help us plan supplies and cleanup zones, we ask that volunteers register in advance if possible.
