π¦π₯ΎπΎ CALL TO ACTION β PLEASE JOIN US 19 JANUARY 2026! πΎπ₯Ύπ¦9:00am | Howick Magistrate Court
Members of the Lions River Honorary Officers will be attending court to observe a poaching case stemming from an incident near the Lions River interchange on the N3 β and we are asking for your support.
Poaching doesnβt only steal from our wildlife β it threatens the ecological balance, the safety of our communities, and the natural heritage we work tirelessly to protect. What many donβt realise is just how complex poaching cases are. They require meticulous investigation, coordination across multiple conservation and law-enforcement bodies, and months β sometimes years β of dedicated work.
And even then, getting a case to court is a victory in itself.
A successful conviction is a powerful step forward for conservation. It sends a clear message that our natural world is protected, that wildlife crime is taken seriously, and that justice is possible when communities stand together.
Our Honorary Officers of Ezemvelo give their time, energy, and heart to fight daily against the horrors of poaching within the Lions River Conservation District. They do this out of passion β not for recognition β but today, your presence can show them that they are not alone.
π Please join us 19 January 2026 at 9am at the Howick Magistrate Court.
Stand with us. Support our officers.
Stand for justice.
Stand for conservation.
Letβs show the strength of a community that loves and protects its wild places. πΏπ¦π₯ΎπΎ
