We're teaming up with Freedom for Animals as part of their Zoo Awareness Weekend for a peaceful protest outside Edinburgh Zoo. 🐒🦓🦒
Shocking findings have come to light through an undercover investigation at Edinburgh Zoo. To share this with the public in an engaging way, we’ve created a quick 2-minute quiz that highlights what was discovered. We expect people will be surprised by what they learn — and that opens the door to meaningful conversations about why zoos should be boycotted.
For those still planning to go inside, we’ll be handing out a checklist flyer — something they can carry with them to help identify signs that animals are struggling in captivity. It’s a way to gently encourage reflection and hopefully, influence future choices.
This is a beginner-friendly event with both speaking and non-speaking roles. Whether you're holding a sign, offering a flyer, or chatting with zoo visitors, your presence matters. Many people visit zoos because they believe they love animals — this is a chance to help them question what that really means.
