Let's get together for a boat trip! After a local tour by boat ?️we will head to the ?? Peanut Island Sandbar! ?? for snorkeling ?, swimming ?, and fun ??! The Island has showers ? and bathrooms.
Peanut Island ??️ is a unique eighty acre tropical park situated in the Intracoastal Waterway near the Lake Worth Inlet. Now a scenic wooded island in the middle of the Lake Worth Lagoon, Peanut Island started life as a pile of sand from early 20th Century dredging projects. After 80 years, the Island has bloomed into a popular picnic destination that provides numerous recreational opportunities for visitors, including a campground (tent camping only, reservations required).
North of Peanut Island ??️, boaters will find one of the top sandbars in the area, with ample room for boats and people who want to have snorkel, stroll, or lay out. The view is remarkable, with the Port of Palm Beach to the west, the soaring Blue Heron Bridge to the north, and beautiful marinas to the East. This water is clean and clear, with the Phil Foster Park Underwater Snorkel Trail just a short boat ride or paddle to the north.

Event Instructions:

We will meet at the Freedom Boat Club in Lake Park ?️ , 103 Lake Shore Dr, Lake Park, FL 33403 on Sunday, June 2, 2024 @ 12:00 pm and launch after boarding. Try to arrive 15 mins. early. Feel free to bring anything that you would like to eat/drink.
