Thomas Plantenga is the Group CEO of Vinted, the largest online C2C marketplace in Europe for second-hand fashion. He joined Vinted in 2016 to lead the company’s turnaround and quickly rose to the position of CEO, guiding the Vilnius-based startup from crisis to global scale-up. Under his leadership, Vinted has expanded across Europe, become Lithuania’s first unicorn, and raised significant funding to power sustainable e-commerce. Before Vinted, Thomas held leadership roles at OLX and FJ Labs, working across markets from Africa to Latin America. A founder himself and an advisor to startups, Thomas brings deep experience in scaling platforms, driving marketplace growth, and building mission-driven teams across continents
