About the Author
Mixon Trammell is a Hardee County native and full-time law enforcement officer who writes frontier stories from both the past and the future. Born and raised in Wauchula, he’s the author
of Frontier Ranger and Steele Empire: Raptor Squadron, two action-packed sci-fi novels, as well as Shadowed Glades, a historical fiction novella set in post–Civil War Florida. When he's not writing or on patrol, he’s a proud father of five.
