A Two-Part Workshop
Part 1. Slicing and Chopping Safely 101
Knife skills are the backbone of all great cooking. We'll dive deep into the fundamentals, teaching young chefs how to handle a knife confidently and correctly.

Part 2. Making a Homemade Spaghetti Sauce for Your Family
In this practical application, kids will learn to ditch the jar and create a rich, flavourful "Spaghetti Sauce" entirely from scratch!

To ensure a professional and secure learning experience, every student will be equipped with a WΓSTHOF Junior Chefβs Knife at their station. The 4-inch blade is specially crafted for children from high-quality German knife steel. It features a 32Β° sharpening angleβsharp enough to safely glide through fruits and vegetables, but intentionally less sharp than an adult chefβs knife. It also has a rounded tip and an extended finger guard offer superior protection for young hands.
Take-Home Meal: Kids will prepare all the ingredients for a take-home container of a delicious Home-made Spaghetti Sauce, portioned perfectly for a family of four.
Buddy System: We set up stations for groups of two. We encourage your child to bring a friend to pair up with for a fun, collaborative learning experience!
