🐾 Happy Dance in the Park: Community-Wide Group Dog Walk 🐾When: Saturday, February 28th • 10:00 – 11:30 AM

What to Expect
Join Happy Dance for a structured, community-wide dog walk designed to bring people and dogs together in a calm, positive way. We’ll start with a group walk through beautiful Canatara Park, followed by a Q&A and live training demos with award-winning Happy Dance trainers.
This is a free community event — open to all families and dog owners who want to enjoy time outdoors, strengthen their bond with their dogs, and learn a little along the way.
Important Details
• Stay in your car until 10:00 AM. Please do not gather outside early. At 10 sharp, we’ll meet, give brief instructions, and then set off together.
• Volunteers will be easy to spot. Look for the neon pink beanies if you need help or have questions.
• Families are welcome, but children must give dogs plenty of space at all times.
Rules for Success
Our goal is a safe, enjoyable walk for everyone. Please follow these guidelines:
• Personal space: Maintain 6ft between dogs while walking and 10ft when stationary.
• Interrupt fixations: Don’t allow your dog to stare or fixate on another dog. Redirect calmly.
• Keep your dog beside you: If your dog can pull, trip, or knock you down, please sign up for training before joining these events.
• Stay positive: Be polite to each other, pedestrians, and any other people or dogs we encounter. Give ample space and practice patience.
Safety Reminder
Your dog’s safety — and the safety of others — is in your hands. Please stay alert, maintain space, and use good judgment at all times. These walks are structured to give you and your dog positive socialization in a safe community setting.
After the Walk
Stick around for live training demonstrations and a chance to ask questions. This is a great opportunity to see Happy Dance training in action and pick up practical tips for your own dog.
