Join Mika from Indigenous Dreams for a meaningful and creative workshop where you’ll explore the story of Turtle Island through Haudenosaunee teachings. This hands-on session includes two beautiful projects: a woven popsicle stick turtle and a Czech seed bead turtle keychain — each inspired by the powerful symbolism of the turtle in Indigenous culture.
As you craft, you'll learn about the creation story of Turtle Island, the role of the turtle in Haudenosaunee worldview, and the teachings it carries about strength, patience, and connection to the Earth.
