BoardGameGeek gives every game a “weight” rating from 1 (light) to 5 (heavy). This helps players know what kind of rules and brain-burn they’re signing up for! Here’s how to think about it:
⚪ Light (1–2): Easy to learn, plays quickly, good for families and casual groups.
Examples: Azul, Sushi Go, Ticket to Ride, Uno
🟢 Medium (2–3.5): Moderate rules, some strategy, but approachable for most players.
Examples: Catan, Dominion, Wingspan, Quacks of Quedlinburg
