Also assume that you may not get a parking space in the car park and park anywhere nearby.
This is a beautiful 4 mile circular walk to the top of Little Solsbury Hill, near Batheaston. This is where I plan to catch a gorgeous sunset casting long shadows on the City of Bath.
Sunset time 4:03pm after sunset as we walk back we will keep a look out for the very thin Crescent Moon as it appears.
(New Moon time is 1:43am on the 20th)
The walk is some small roads, but mainly fields and countryside paths. Being a winter walk, please assume this will be muddy and chilly. (Especially at the top of the hill).
There is a possibility of cattle in some fields on this walk, so not suitable for dogs.
After the walk, for those that are interested I will find us a nice Pub to grab an evening meal together.
