All the vendors were stirring, even our cats;
The trees all decorated with vintage and care,
In the hopes that you would soon be there;
The thrift was all nestled snug on the tables,
Marked down and displayed to the vision we had;
And the manager in her elf costume and vendors in their best,
Have just swept the floor and cuddled the cats,
When out front of the store our door cheerfully chimed,
We sprang from our booths to see who arrived,
Picked up a loose ornament,
And snapped on the tree lights.
The twinkle of vintage stars on the top of the tree
Shone down on the presents on the giving tree,
When, what to our wondering eyes should appear,
But you and eight of your friends, most dear,
With a armful of reusable bags of your own,
I knew in a moment you read this poem.
Quickly and nimbly you moved through the space,
Happily chatting with vendors, and calling them by name:
Hello Ken! Hey Brian! Good day Roy and Sandra!
John! bonjour Madeline! Hi Susan and Steven!
Show me your wares, your clothing, and records!
I’ll pay cash, e-transfer, or card if you like!
As baskets fill with holiday joy,
The crinkle of paper rustled, wrapping your toy!
So off to your car you go with the treasures!
You bought gifts for all and your heart filled with pleasure!
The Market will do this again and again,
Delighting in and congratulating your jubilant finds.
The cats will nap well after you’re gone,
For excitement and pets tire them more out to the bone!

The YQR Vintique Market has two floors of curated vintage & antique items comprising 10,000 square feet of space! The 5000 square foot thrift area will be freshly displayed with home and holiday decor. This area contains marked down items from our vendors who love to redecorate their booths frequently!
