The Details:
πͺΈ Dive Into Zouk! at 7pm, a FREE class for those whoβd like to discover the world of zouk and those whoβd like to refine their zouk foundations.
π©βπ¬ The Zouk Lab**, also at 7pm, is an intermediate monthly-themed progressive class designed to build on zouk foundations, explore new concepts and prepare you for the next level!
β‘οΈ At 8pm, weβll be turning up the energia with All Swim, a fun experience for all that will get our bodies moving!
π€Ώ At 8:15pm join us for the Deep Dive, where dancers from experienced levels to the most seasoned dancers come to explore how to take their zouk to the NEXT LEVEL -- dance zouk at new heights with both innovation and precision!
Deep Dive classes are semi-progressive, referencing previous concepts in the month but open to enter at anytime.
π At 8:15, get Ready to Party! This class is designed to help melt barriers and explore the joy of social dance!
πͺ© Finally, weβre gonna party till midnight+ with DJ FAB!!
**Zouk Lab Requirements:
Must be ready for intermediate level training and/or have 12 points from Dive Into Zouk.

π About the Venue:
The iconic Verdi Club in San Francisco β a gorgeous Art Deco venue, is conveniently located right off the freeway in between San Franciscoβs Mission District and Potrero Hill. Street parking is more available and safer than most neighborhoods in SF. That said, we still recommend that you keep your valuables with you.

The B2Z Collective is a not-for-profit group that has a passion for Brazil and Brazilian Zouk, is rooted in the Bay Area, and embraces all of our Bay Area dance communities. We are values-driven and are committed to creating experiences that will elevate the essence of Brazilian Zouk and its roots from Brazil, experiences that contribute to the growth of Brazilian Zouk here in the Bay Area, and experiences that emphasize unity among our dance communities!

Nelly Caldeira
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Nelly's journey into the world of Brazilian Zouk began in 2014, sparked by classes at Renata PeΓ§anhaβs school. Her passion quickly evolved, deeply influenced by mentors such as Paloma Alves & William Teixeira and Val Clemente & Vanessa Bonilha. Her transition to the U.S. in 2018 marked a significant turn in her career when she joined the Zouk Needs You team and became a dedicated instructor, boasting exemplary skills in both leading and following.
Nelly has collaborated with some of the worldβs most prestigious zouk teams and projects including: MAC Project, Zouk Babes Bay Area (Director), Zouk Needs You, Boneca Baddies, Zouk SF, Kadu and Larissa Followers Team. Nelly firmly believes that dance can be a powerful medium for personal transformation. She advocates for a balanced approach to teaching, emphasizing both technique and the emotional, psychological aspects of dancing.
Charles Onyeama
Charles comes from a background of over 16 years of solo/partner dance experience, including classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, salsa, bachata, kizomba, and Brazilian zouk/lambada. Having competed, performed, and created work alongside some of the biggest names across these disciplines, Charles is always focused on embodying the essence of each individual style, while using that language to bring something uniquely personal to whoever his dance touches. Charles aims to both inspire and unlock something profound through each encounter, whether it be performance, competition, choreography, instruction, or a shared moment on the dance floor.
For Charles, every opportunity in dance is an opportunity of creation, both external, and internal. He's been a member of the Bay Area Latin dance communities for over 15 years and is passionate about uniting our dance communities and sharing the essence of Brazilian Zouk!
