LET'S SHAKE SAMHAIN UP A BIT, & MAKE IT A WHOLE DAY AFFAIR, as in earlier times.
Join us for a TWO-PART ritual day:
first, a good, old-fashioned Hallowe'en party, complete with traditional divinatory & fun games, such as
🍎Bobbing for Apples, 📦 Mystery Feelie Boxes, 🍬Guess the Candy #, 🎃 Pin the Stem on the Pumpkin, 🎣 Fishing for Pagans, ⚰️ The Corpse Game, & more.
To give early-leavers & more folx time to get a READING, the traditional after-Ritual divination session is being also held during this games time! Bring your cards, runes, bones, mirrors, & Read for others, if you are one of THOSE people who can.
After the fun & merriment, we transition to the somber ritual.

🔨 EARLY SET UP is FRIDAY evening at 6:00 pm (pls help if you can!)
🔨 2nd SET UP SATURDAY - 1:00 pm
🧑 GENERAL ARRIVAL - 2:30 pm
👻 GAMES / HALLOWE'EN PARTY - 3:00 pm
🕯️ RITUAL BEGINS - 5:00 pm
😋 POTLUCK DUMB SUPPER w/ANCESTORS - during the ritual
💀 THIS IS AN OVER-18 EVENT ONLY 💀due to the somber nature of this event
This may also not be the best Sabbat if it is someone's first ritual, unless they are familiar with Thin Veil / Mystery Working, or deep personal /emotional Workings.
🚪 DOOR TO BE LOCKED AT 5 for the Ritual, with no late entry.
⏰ COME EARLY to place your table setting, get your drink, place your Ancestor mementos, chat with friends, & purchase raffle tickets perhaps.
🍲 The potluck 'SILENT FEAST / DUMB SUPPER w/Ancestors' is embedded in the Ritual
For Samhain, consider bringing a FAMILY RECIPE, or a dish from the land of your Ancestors, perhaps using family linens if you have them
🎃 BRING your carved pumpkins & other such themed decorations for food tables & Ritual hall. They will all be returned to you afterward
🖼️ BRING PICTURES / MEMENTOS of loved ones -pets included- who have gone Beyond the Veil, for the Ancestors altar

🔮 It is customary in CH to do Readings / Divination at this thinnest of Veils time, & at the height of the power raised during the Ritual
🎴 BRING your Tarot, Runes, or other favorite Divination method for doing a Reading for yourself; AND if you are a Reader, consider offering your Reading services as a Sacred Gift to others present.
As mentioned above, THIS YEAR we are also adding a session BEFORE the Ritual, during the party

✔️💰 SUGGESTED DONATION is $5 per person. This money helps us to pay for the supplies throughout the year, & for the halls during the 🌟 Dark of the Wheel
💖 While we have a suggested donation, any amount is good, & NO-ONE will ever be turned away or judged for not having a donation. It is just that, SUGGESTED, & we thank you for any & all support given
✔️💲 Bring a few extra dollars for the raffle, would you? As usual, each ticket is $1, or 6 tickets for $5
🎫 You also get a free ticket with each door donation, no matter the amount. 🌟 There is also another way to receive a free ticket, but you'll have to figure that one out 😃

✔️⛾ HELP US HONOUR THE GODS WITH OUR THRIFT & CONSIDERATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT! 🌟 We are slowly working to reduce / stop our purchase of disposable settings
♻️ So bring your own REUSABLE PLACE-SETTING - ☕ drinkware, plate, bowl, silverware, & cloth napkins are a great way to help us meet our goals 🌟
🍷 This is especially nice to do at Samhain, when we are trying to connect to the Ancestors. You could use some of your family's tableware, or other wares that connect you to Ancestors of Heart / Choice
✔️ 🔪 If you can contribute to potluck, bring it READY TO SERVE, precut & portioned
All fruits & veg should also be 🚿 PRE-WASHED, even if package says 'washed', to avoid salmonella & other nasties
✔️ 🍲 DO BRING a dish to share with AT LEAST 10-12 people. This is most important to help create the Great Feast. 🌟 If you are bringing a large group, some extras would be appreciated
✔️ DO BRING a hearty main or side dish. We usually have way too many desserts, & not enough veggies & meats
⛔🥚 DO NOT BRING items that are mayonnaise /egg based, as they do not keep safely for the entire event
✔️ DO BRING YOUR FOOD READY TO SERVE. If it is a cake/pie, cut into SMALL serving portions. 🌟 If a roasted chicken, cut it into pieces, etc. Crockpots / Instant Pots are great for keeping items warm
✔️🍳 Mark your pots, dishes, & 🌟 serving-ware, & make sure you TAKE ALL YOUR LEFTOVERS / items home
✔️🏷️ LABEL the food that you bring WITH CLEARLY WRITTEN TAGS, LISTING ★ALL★ INGREDIENTS, NO MATTER HOW SMALL THE QUANTITY, OR bring original label of purchased / prepared foods
