Progressive 4 week lesson series
NO experience or partner needed!
Learn to swing dance! In one month of lessons we will review the history of this African-American dance along with common dance steps, technique, turning basics, leading up to the signature swing dance Swing Out!
Skill Requirements: NONE! This class is for everyone.

May 26th is World Lindy Hop Day, and the birthday of Frankie Manning, "Ambassador of Lindy Hop!" We're celebrating by educating ourselves about the roots of Lindy Hop, and learning classic moves that were favorites of pioneering Lindy Hoppers like Frankie!

?Open Practice Room?Free / $5 suggested donation
For May we will have an open practice room available for anyone to show up! Organize with friends (We have a Discord!) or come work on your solo moves! This room is NOT staffed and does not have a provided Bluetooth speaker.

We recommend you wear comfortable clothing and shoes to dance in (shoes with a smooth sole are ideal!) and bring a full water bottle.

Dances will be mask optional with no vaccination requirements.
We encourage continued masking and will continue to offer masks at the registration desk. As a community we respect individual masking choices, and we will be updating our safer spaces policy to reflect this
