The Dauphin Island Women’s Club is proud to sponsor a free, community-wide Caregiver College — an empowering and informative workshop designed to support caregivers, family members, and anyone preparing to care for a loved one. 💛
Whether you're currently caring for someone, expecting to in the future, or simply want to understand available resources, this workshop will give you guidance, confidence, and connection.
✨ Topics Include:
• Legal issues all caregivers should know
• Understanding hospice & care planning
• Dementia basics + current research
• How AlabamaCares & AAA programs can support YOU
• “Prepare to Care” — a working lunch session
• Q&A with local experts
🥐 Breakfast bites and lunch will be provided — free of charge.
👥 Open to all community members and surrounding neighbors — you do NOT need to be a DIWC member to attend.
