What is Children's Day?: In Japan Children’s Day happens on May 5th. On this day families hang up colorful carp-shaped flags called koinobori. The carp is a symbol of strength because it's said to swim up waterfalls so the flags wish for children to grow up strong and brave! Families also decorate their homes with samurai warrior dolls. We are bringing this fun seasonal festival in Japan to the park in Round Rock! 🎏🎉
