Join us for the first meeting of the year with the Valley of the Lakes Garden Club! We’re excited to welcome both returning members and new faces to our vibrant and enthusiastic community. Attendance typically ranges from 70 to 90 members, so you’re in for a lively and inspiring time!Guests are welcome to attend two monthly meetings to see what our club is all about. After this, we encourage you to become a member to continue enjoying our activities and benefits.
We’re thrilled to host Horticulturalist Linda Brennan, who will share her expertise on Fool-Proof Vegetable Gardening. The talk will run for 40–50 minutes and begin after morning tea at 10:30 AM.
☕ Morning Tea. Bring a plate to contribute to our popular shared morning tea table! Tea and coffee will be provided.
Club Table: Members donate garden items, plants, books, fruits, vegetables, and more, which can be purchased for a nominal fee. All proceeds support the club.
Member Trade Tables: Members can bring plants, garden art, or garden-related items to sell. A 10% commission on sales goes to the club. Please let us know the day before the meeting if you require a table.
Schedule of Events
8:00 AM: Sellers may enter the hall to set up their sales.
9:00 AM: Members arrive for plant sales, purchase raffle tickets, and vote for the display table.
9:30 AM: Members are seated.
10:00–10:30 AM: Morning tea and plant sales.
10:30–11:30 AM: Guest speaker presentation.
12:00 PM: Meeting concludes.
