About this Event

Children should start reading from a young age as it helps to build on their attention span. Parents can kick start their child’s interest in reading by nailing two crucial steps; selecting the right picture books and using intriguing methods to ignite their interest in reading. Through this talk, you will learn how to select the right picture books for children of ages 0 to 6, as well as tips on how to engage reading with your child.

This session is co-presented by the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language (SCCL).

This workshop is suitable for parents, educators and librarians who work with children aged 6 and below and would like to know more about selection of picture books suitable for that age group.

This programme will be conducted via the Zoom platform. Participants do not need a Zoom account to take part in the workshop.
