鄺美貞的珠寶設計獨具創意，她利用當代的風格演繹玉石傳統之美，作品含蓄優雅。她從事設計創作以外，更出版了不少有關設計的著作，並分別於大學及學術評審局擔任學術顧問及珠寶行業專家。歷年來作品屢獲設計奬項及被私人收藏，印證她在設計及教學領域中的成就。鄺美貞深信珠寶從不只是個人裝飾的玩意 ; 設計不單是視覺上的表現，更是一場思想的歷程。她從珠寶的微觀中看透大觀世界，嘗試以設計透喻人生，以作品觀照人生哲理及玄機，故被香港傳媒冠以「玉石詩人」的美譽。

Throughout her career, she has received numerous awards, recognizing her achievements in design and education. Her works are highly acclaimed and sought after by collectors. Kwong believes that jewelry is more than just a personal adornment; it is a form of expression and a reflection of life. She perceives the vast world through the lends of jewelry, using design as a metaphor for life. Her creations embody diverse philosophies and enigmas of existence, earning her the title of "Poet of Gemstones" by the Hong Kong media.
