對絶大部份人而言，作家望雲的名字很陌生，亦鮮有人知道他曾任電影編導。香港本地文學研究學者蔡思行博士會細說這位活躍於1930年代文壇作家的作品和人生。
Eileen Chang, a prominent figure among top Chinese writers, has remained a popular subject for decades. In this sharing session, Ir. James Ng, an expert on Eileen Chang’s works, will unveil his latest research findings.
Mong Wan may not be a name widely recognised. Yet Dr Henry Choi, a local literary scholar, will provide a profound and engaging exploration of the works and life of this prominent writer who was active in the literary scene of the 1930s.
吳邦謀 Ir James Ng
特許電力工程師吳邦謀為現任香港收藏家協會高級副會長，亦是張學研究者及資深收藏家。著有《尋覓張愛玲》、《從啓德至赤鱲角》、《香港航空125年》等，後者於2015年榮獲第二屆香港金閱獎「最佳書籍獎」。曾獲邀於香港歷史博物館、香港文物探知館、香港大學圖書館、香港中文大學逸夫書院等，主講香港百年歷史及張愛玲傳奇故事，並與公眾分享收藏之樂。
Ir James Ng is the Senior Vice-President of the Hong Kong Collectors Society. He is a well-known researcher of Eileen Chang and an experienced collector in Hong Kong. He has written several books, including In Search of Eileen Chang (尋覓張愛玲), From Kai Tak to Chek Lap Kok (從啓德至赤鱲角), Aviation in Hong Kong, 1891-2015, etc. The latter received the “Best Book Award” in the second Hong Kong Golden Book Awards in 2015. Ng has been invited to give talks at various institutions in Hong Kong, discussing the history of Hong Kong and the legend of Eileen Chang, and sharing his passion for collecting.
蔡思行博士 Dr Choi Sze Hang Henry
蔡思行為香港大學歷史系博士，現任教於香港中文大學大學通識學部，亦是藏書人。喜歡收藏1950至1970年代香港出版的舊書籍，在《讀書雜誌》撰寫〈舊書今讀〉專欄，訴說舊書中的有趣故事。
Dr Henry Choi is a book collector with a particular interest in Hong Kong books published from the 1950s to 1970s. He has published articles in the Reading Magazine’s column, where he shares interesting stories about old books.
Additionally, Dr Choi obtained his PhD in History from the University of Hong Kong and currently serves as a lecturer in the General Education China Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
