On February 2 at 2 PM, CMC will host a grand event on Hollywood Walk of Fame and TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles: the "Happy Chinese New Year Cultural Heritage Fair & North American Special Screening of Detective Chinatown 1900."

Traditional Chinese intangible cultural heritage activities such as sugar painting, paper cutting, clay figurine making, spring couplet writing, face painting, stilt walking, and lion dance performances will all take place on the Walk of Fame!

剧情梗概 Synopsis:

1900年的旧金山，一白人女子在唐人街被害，而嫌疑人正是一名华人男子，凶案引起社会动荡，民众纷纷要求取缔唐人街。中医秦福（刘昊然 饰）和华人阿鬼（王宝强 饰）卷入此案，他们与时间赛跑，在斗智斗勇之中，终于找到凶手。

In 1900's San Francisco, a white woman is murdered in Chinatown and the suspect is a Chinese man. The M**der causes a social shock and the public calls for Chinatown to be outlawed. Chinese medicine practitioner QIN Fu (LIU Haoran) and Chinese man Ah Gui (WANG Baoqiang) are involved in the case, and they race against time to find the murderer amist a battle of wits and courage.
