JF Books invited renowned Chinese political scholar Dr. Liu Junning will to share his insights on 'Analyzing Popular Misconceptions that Mislead the Public.' Through decades of focused research on China's public sphere and conservatism, he has developed unique perspectives and analytical frameworks. Professor Liu will help JF readers examine widely circulated yet potentially misleading views and public opinions in today's society, exploring how these ideas shape public perception and discussing ways to cultivate more rational and independent thinking.
講者介紹｜Speaker
劉軍寧，於1993年獲得北京大學政治學博士學位。曾為中國社科院政治學所研究員，哈佛大學費正清研究中心訪問學者，文化部中國文化研究所研究員，是中國大陸具有代表性的自由派。著有《保守主義》、《共和·民主·憲政：自由主義思想研究》、《民主教程》等。
Liu Junning received his Ph.D. in Political Science from Peking University in 1993. He has served as a researcher at the Institute of Political Science at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, a visiting scholar at Harvard University's Fairbank Center for Chinese Studies, and a researcher at the China Culture Research Institute of the Ministry of Culture. He is a prominent liberal intellectual in mainland China. His published works include 'Conservatism,' 'Republic, Democracy, and Constitutionalism: Studies in Liberal Thought,' and 'A Course in Democracy.
