有關導師

教育心理學家廖坤怡女士專門為學童及青少年提供在學適應及讀寫支援。她為有需要的兒童及青少年提供智力及行為評估，並為有發展障礙（包括專注力不足過動症、自閉症譜系障礙、各種學習障礙、資優等）的兒童提供治療。她曾多次為不同的學校提供家長講座及諮詢服務。

廖女士亦是資深的英文老師，具超過10年在本地大、中、小學任教經驗。此外，她曾於本地非政府機構負責本地家長教育課程的研究工作。

廖女士擁有香港大學社會科學碩士 (教育心理學)學位、香港中大大學心理學文學碩士學位、香港中文大學英語教學碩士學位，以及香港中文大學教育文憑。

Every parent wants the best for their child, but good intentions don’t always translate into actions or lead to desirable results. When love is mistranslated, it might harm the child - or even damage the parent-child relationship.

Come and learn how to master the art of parenting, discipline, and foster your child with love while giving effective instructions, praises, and rewards. Save yourself a spot at Qurio’s upcoming parenting workshop!

Education psychologist Ms Queenie Liu will guide you through the essential knowledge and skills to translate love into your child’s language. This is an interactive workshop where you will also get to practise what you’ve learnt on the spot and raise any questions you have in mind.

About the instructor

Ms Queenie Liu is an educational psychologist specialising in supporting and training school children and teenagers with reading and writing difficulties.

She provides psychoeducational assessments for children and youth as well as interventions for children with developmental disorders, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), different types of learning disorders and giftedness (Asperger's Disorder). In addition, she has provided consultation services and held multiple parent workshops for various local schools.

Ms Liu is also a seasoned English teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching in local primary, secondary and tertiary education settings across Hong Kong. Previously, she took part in a parenting research project at a local, non-government organization.

She holds a Master of Social Science degree in Education Psychology from the University of Hong Kong, a Master of Arts degrees in Psychology and English Language Teaching from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from CUHK.
