FAPA 華州分會試辦推出「國會法案讀書會」。以輕量小型讀書會形式，聚焦單一法案，從概念與戰略角度理解美國為何推動相關立法。非條文導讀，首次試辦。
About this Event

很多人在看台美相關新聞時，常常會看到各種法案名稱，但很難判斷：這個法案為什麼會被提出？代表美國現在在想什麼？又可能往哪個方向走？

這個讀書會不做條文逐條解讀，也不設定立場，而是透過輕量、小型討論，一次聚焦一項與台灣相關的法案，一起拆解它出現的背景，以及它反映的政策與戰略思考。

希望透過約一小時的交流，讓參與者在之後看新聞、關注政策，或與人討論台美議題時，能多一層判斷的視角，而不只是停留在法案名稱或標題本身。

本次為首次試辦場，也將作為未來規劃讀書會形式的重要參考。

Beyond our annual congressional advocacy efforts, FAPA Washington Chapter is launching a new, small-group Congressional Bill Study Workshop.

Each session focuses on one Taiwan-related bill—not for legal or clause-by-clause analysis, but to examine why the bill was proposed and what strategic and policy thinking it reflects.

Through a one-hour conceptual discussion, participants will gain a clearer framework for understanding Taiwan-related legislation in U.S. Congress and apply that perspective to future advocacy or policy tracking.
