About this Event
Marina Abramovic is renowned for her performance art that emphasizes being present in the moment. In her iconic work The Artist is Present, she sat silently on a chair in a museum, gazing into the eyes of each visitor, creating a profound shared experience in the present moment. But is this "presence" an abstract, elusive concept, or a state of being that can be cultivated through practice?
This one-hour workshop, rooted in traditional Tantric Buddihsm practices, guides participants step by step to focus on and experience the present moment through techniques such as breathwork and Yoga Nidra. It aims to help you recalibrate the rhythm between your inner and outer worlds.
Hoyin is a yoga instructor dedicated to cultivating mindfulness in the urban environment. His teachings encompass Tantric practices, breathwork, and meditation. In 2023, he completed a 300-hour yoga teacher training under the guidance of Dileep Puliyolly, where he studied the oral yoga wisdom of the Himalayas, rooted in the centuries-old Nath tradition. His classes emphasize the healing power of yoga.
Workshop will be conducted in Cantonese
