來到3月的最後一週，
戲台酒館Stage Right Band的
向吉他大師-Wes Montgomery致敬系列，
也即將進入尾聲。
本週六帶來一首輕鬆愉快的"Gone With The Wind“。
這首曲子和多數的爵士標準曲的身世背景一樣，
出自1939年的歷史浪漫同名電影"Gone With The Wind“，
由Allie Wrubel譜曲、Herb Magidson填詞。
而電影改編自1936年，
獲得普立茲文學獎的小說"Gone With The Wind“，
作者是美國知名女性作家Margaret Mitchell(1900.11.8– 1949.8.16)。
Wes所詮釋的版本，
收錄於1960年的專輯-"The Incredible Jazz Guitar“，
堪稱是最Swing以及最具影響力的詮釋。

Saturday 3/27 Wes Montgomery's "Gone With The Wind"
This week at Theater Trattoria, Matt Fullen's Stage Right Band will conclude their celebration of the birth month of the incredible jazz guitarist and composer Wes Montgomery with his deeply swinging version of "Gone With The Wind," written for the 1939 historical romance film, also titled "Gone With The Wind." The film was based on the 1936 Pulitzer prize-winning novel of the same name written by Margaret Mitchell, and the song later was written for the film by Allie Wrubel and lyricist Herb Magidson. West Montgomery's version was debuted on his 1960 album "The Incredible Jazz Guitar" and is one of the most interesting and swinging versions of all time; it has influenced generations of players. Please join us for the wonderfully warm and swinging music of Wes Montgomery, jazz standards, and the original music of Matt Fullen at Theater Trattoria, the most deliciously swinging Saturday night in Taipei!
