Join Kat and me as we bring together our skills to co-create a quiet morning of mindfulness practices - tea drinking, meditation, breath work, movement and deep listening.We will welcome you with a warming, spiced tea to boost your immune system and guided meditation to help the body to arrive and locate a sense of peace, calm and presence.
Mindful breathing practice strengthens this connection, invoking the parasympathetic nervous system, reducing stress, and deepening the journey within.
We will then move into a synthesised practice of yin yoga with therapeutic sound. As Kat weaves a gentle sonic tapestry of tuning forks, chimes, Himalayan and quartz crystal singing bowls, i will guide you through a gentle yin yoga practice inviting you to surrender into the poses. Soothed by the resonating frequencies and completely supported with pillows allows a deep release to take place as the body stretches and eases to find stillness and peace.
As we conclude the gentle movement practice and settle into rest, our Sound journey evolves and expands with planetary tuned gongs, chimes, shruti and percussion escorting you to other realms.
Returning back to the body, there’s time to land as we gather to ground our energy with homemade, nourishing sweet treats.
