About this Event

No artistic experience needed, and YES YOU CAN! This is NOT a paint by numbers class. What you create will be uniquely yours. During this Ink & Drink intro workshop, you’ll learn about alcohol inks and beginner techniques to control the chaos of this unpredictable medium, but the beauty of intuitive fluid art is in the feeling that process gives you. You literally CAN’T do it wrong! If you’re a seasoned creator you’ll be able to take advantage of Jamie’s years of experience teaching and creating to go deeper.

All art supplies are included. Just bring your fave beverage and an open mind!

What to Expect

• Welcome & Warm-Up Jamie will guide everyone through getting familiar with alcohol inks—what they are, how they behave, how to control them (and when to let go).

• Hands-On Creation You’ll step into the artist’s process: choosing your own colors, using untraditional tools like straws and gravity and just letting the ink flow. Exploration over perfection!

• Sip & Share Bring your favorite drink: wine, beer, tea or whatever feels good. As the ink swirls on paper, enjoy sipping, chatting, sharing ideas and inspiration with fellow creatives. • Guidance & Support Whether you’re totally new to fluid art or you’ve dabbled before, Jamie meets you where you are. She shares her own learning journey—including what worked, what didn’t while encouraging personal style.

• Takeaway Artwork At the end of the night, you’ll leave with your own completed alcohol-ink piece plus the confidence to continue more at home.
