Experience the THEREMIN! One of the WORLD's FIRST electronic musical instruments @ Kokomo Howard County Public Library this upcoming February 26th, 2026.
The theremin was invented around 1919 by Soviet-Russian physicist Leon Theremin. It is played with no contact to anything like a fret board or keys. Nothing at all actually. Absolute thin air!
You may have heard the theremin featured in old sci-fi/horror movies or popular music. I will be discussing the true history of this instrument; featuring historic theremin artifacts from X-Ray's Theremin Museum - The Archive.
